Kenya Ports Authority Men’s Volleyball team had a great run this weekend with four wins which put them in pole position to wrestle the reigns from defending Champions General Service Unit.

The Dockers are leading the standings after six rounds and have proven to be quite a balanced team in the 2022 Championship. KPA won against Prisons Central with a score of 3-0, then against Rift Valley Prison 3-0 before finishing off with Kenya Defence Forces 3-0.

KPS were deliberate in their pattern ensuring they took charge of proceedings for all their matches. In their match against Prisons Central, they won in a range of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-14 with their serving being their most solid power point.

The second contest against RV. Prisons story was near similar even though their opponents tried hard to push and get a level or a decider but failed. The score range in this match 25-17, 25-19 and 25-17.

The dockers had to lock it up with power serves and good blocks in the net using their jump height well.
