Former National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Boss Anthony Omerikwa is now the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA).

Omerikwa has officially taken over the position from John Muteti who was the acting CEO for the Authority.

“The Authority has this morning welcomed the new CEO Dr. Anthony Omerikwa who has officially taken over The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) from immediate Acting CEO Prof. John Muteti.”NACADA announced in a statement posted in its official X account formerly Twitter.

The ceremony was presided over by the Board Chairman Stephen Kiptoem Mairori.

“Prof. Muteti reverts back to his substantive position of Director, Policy and Planning at the Authority. Karibu sana to the campaign Daktari!!!,” read the statement.

Omerikwa exited NSSF, CEO Position in November 2022 after serving his single three-year term.

He had held the position in an acting capacity for four years until November, 2019 when he was appointed substantively as the CEO.

Omerikwa had joined the fund over a decade ago as a manager, rising through the various ranks to become the CEO.
