Agriculture Development Corporation ( ADC), has confirmed that attempts were made to grab parts of the Galana Kulalu land but the move was thwarted by it’s field officers.

However the corporations managing director Mohammed Bule clarified that all threats of land grabbing have been conclusively delt with. “A 100% of Galana Kulalu is now in ADC hands “said Bule.

He added that the agency has acquired digital survey equipment to monitor it’s land.

“The equipment has a two centimeters accuracy and this will help a great deal in ensuring that our land is safe from encrochers “he said.

Mr. Bule spoke in the wake of reports that highly connected individuals had grabbed nearly three handred acres of land from Galana ranch and are now selling to unsuspecting public.
