10 political parties have failed to meet compliance rules set by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) after resubmitting their nomination rules.
IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati on Monday said that a total of 82 Political Parties resubmitted revised nomination rules and IEBC Kenya has completed the second review of their nomination rules.

The IEBC Chair was speaking at a consultative forum with the Political Parties Liaison Committee on 2022 General Election preparedness, nomination rules and proposed electoral legal reforms. On preparedness, Chebikati said “demands for concerted efforts by all Political Parties, Government Institutions, the civil society and citizens to play their roles. IEBC remains steadfast in this journey towards the 2022 GE to deliver free, fair and credible polls.”
